About

Hi there! This is a personal, amateur, low-production project aimed to share the true gospel of Christ Jesus. I have had the privilege of journeying with four lovely friends who have graciously agreed to share their lives openly and vulnerably with all of you through a series of Draw My Life videos. (-: They come from very different backgrounds and families, but all have experienced the hand of God working powerfully in their lives.

It is amazing how God works to make His name known amongst His people. I am excited to share their stories with you, and more than that, I am excited to share with you about Christ, the great Story-teller and main character of which all our stories point towards. (-:

::

If you are here because of Benjamin and Ruth, scroll down to watch their video! Otherwise, you can also head over to www.toeternityandbehold.wordpress.com to follow their journey as a newlywed couple.

If you have burning questions about Christianity, do head over to the FAQs section, or contact me to find out more!

Panel 2

draw my life

Four individuals. A broken family. A depressed spirit. A prideful heart. A hardened mind.

Joshua’s story

Have you ever had issues with your parents? Have you ever felt unloved? Josh tells us of his childhood with an absent father, which left him feeling empty, insecure and looking for love in the wrong places. Watch Josh’s Draw My Life as he shares how his life has changed for the better when he finally found a love that could truly satisfy.

Shan’s story

As a 14 year-old, Shan had already accomplished more than most of her peers. She had good grades, brilliant CCA records, and held several award titles. However, when she lost all that she had attained, she fell into depression and attempted to take her own life. Watch Shan’s Draw My Life as she tells us of how she eventually found her identity in something worth far greater than silver or gold, which pushed her to live on and face each day with joy.

Siyue’s story

Why are some Christians so proud? Does Christianity really promise a life of health and wealth? How can I be a “sinner” in need of “God’s forgiveness” when I haven’t really done anything gravely wrong? Watch Siyue’s Draw My Life as she debunks and answers these questions through her personal experience and life story.

Wesley’s story

Why is there a need to believe in God? Even then, is there really a need to give up your entire life (or soul for that matter) to follow God? Life was relatively smooth-sailing for Wesley, and while he believed that there was a “greater being” out there, he never saw the need to give his life to God. Watch Wesley’s Draw My Life as he revealed how he once lived life as he pleased and how it all changed when he came to seek and acknowledge Jesus Christ as His greatest treasure.

Season 2

Ben and Ruth’s story

If we are honest with ourselves, we often feel insecure. We sometimes spend a lot of our time and effort seeking for attention, love and security in who we are or what we do. Watch Ben and Ruth’s Draw My Life as they share how they gradually came to realise how having a constant need to please others left them feeling empty and hopeless, and how they found true joy in a stable and unfailing love. You can also follow their journey more closely at www.toeternityandbehold.wordpress.com as they begin their life as a married couple.

FAQs

This page contains material that are largely targeted toward those who are curious to find out more about Christianity and the Gospel!

Note

I do not know the answers to all your questions. Neither am I formally trained nor the most well-equipped to tackle these questions on my own. However, through being taught how to read the Bible in a clear, contextual manner, and having had opportunities to discuss some of these questions with some older, mature Christians, I have gained some wisdom and insight on how to approach these questions. I have used what I have learnt to compile a list of links and resources, which may help you to better understand more about Christianity and the Gospel! (-:

Of course, do know that the links that I have directed you to may not (in fact, it most probably would not) provide a full and complete answer to the questions that you seek. While they will be helpful in explaining or answering some questions, we believe that the Bible is the ultimate source of authority, and it gives a clear and sufficient understanding of Jesus, who He is, and what He came to do.

So don’t hesitate to drop me a message to see for yourself. We could begin by arranging a meet-up in a chillaxerinos (i.e., relaxed) setting. Opposing views are more than welcomed ha aaaa ha (nervous laughter). Haha – alright, for real though, all are welcomed to chat! (-:

Links and Resources

Material are taken and compiled mostly from The Gospel Coalition Australiadesiringgod.org and challies.com.

What do Christians believe?

What is the Gospel about?

Is there only one God?

Will I still be accepted by God…

Why is there suffering in this world?

What next?

I seek not to glorify myself, but I am not sure if you would be comfortable meeting me if you do not know me. If you would like to like to know more about me before contacting me or meeting up with me, you could visit my blog where I share about my Christian life, albeit sporadically, or you could send me a friend request on Instagram to have a peek into my friendly and non-intimidating personality. I don’t bite. Unless you are a peanut pancake or sourdough toast.

Special mention

This would not have been possible without the help and support of many others: Joshua, Shan, Wesley, Siyue, Clara, Jo, For You Alone committee, and Ben.
